Andrea Roberts:

Talent Factory co-owner & Director of the Showstopper and Dance Club Dance Teams.

Ms. Roberts has been at The Talent Factory for eleven years.  She worked in the entertainment industry for over ten years before she moved to Chino.  She performed in television and movies and traveled internationally for a number of athletic wear companies.

One of her last appearances was on “The Academy Awards” under the direction of “American Idol’s” Paula Abdul.  She came back into performing while working on Raven’s “Grazin’ in the Grass” video for “The Lion King 1 1/2.”

Kelly Long:

Talent Factory co-owner & Director of the Chino Valley All-Stars Cheerleading and Songleading Team.

Ms. Long has been with The Talent Factory since she was 3 years old!  She was a Showstopper for many years and started choreographing for the team at the young age of 14. As a competitive dancer and gymnast, she won many national titles and awards. She has gone on to coach and choreograph for numerous high school and college cheer and dance teams.

Her students have won numerous state and national titles and some have gone on to work in the entertainment industry.

Ashley Barnett:

Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theater, Showstopper Instructor.

Ashley has been teaching at The Talent Factory for 10 years. She is a graduate of UCLA with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. Her deep love for dance has taken her in many directions. She has worked for Disney, Kodak, NBC, and MTV, performing in TV shows, music videos, commercials, and award shows. She has danced in numerous concerts and benefits in the Los Angeles area.

Teaching has been one of her most prized occupations. Both her dancers and her choreography are widely respected throughout the dance community. She hopes to pass on her love and passion for dance to every student she teaches.

Rod Howell:

Tap, Showstopper Instructor.

Rod has been with The Talent Factory for Six years. He trained under the direction of Greg Russell in Wooster, Ohio and teachers like Henry LeTang and Julie Bassing in New York. He was a member of & choreographer for the company “Tap Sounds Underground.”  He performed on national television in a duo with soap star Drew Tyler Bell for which he choreographed and wrote the music. Rod has been tapping for 21 years now and teaching for 16 years.  His students have gone on to tour with “Tap Dogs” and star on “The Bold and the Beautiful.”  He continues to take his amazing talent and style and teach master classes all over the United States.

Dana Kirk:

Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Combo.

Ms. Kirk has taught at The Talent Factory for eight years.  She has trained extensively with Los Angeles’ best teachers and choreographers.  She has danced professionally, appearing in national commercials for Alpha Beta and Disney.  Dana has taught master classes nationally and assisted on many television specials such as the Miss California Pageant.  Dana continues to love teaching dance and teaches at many area studios in addition to ours.

Sommer Ferree:

Gymnastics.
Ms. Sommer has been with The Talent Factory all her life! She is trained in gymnastics, tap, ballet, and jazz.  She competed with the Showstoppers until she was eighteen years of age. 

She won numerous state and national awards.  She briefly appeared in a few commercials and print ads.  Since then she has dedicated the last 10 years to her students.

Wilma Vie Solis:

Hip-Hop, Jazz, Showstopper & Dance Club Instructor. 

This hip-hop girl is on fire!  Wilma has been with The Talent Factory for almost 4 years.  She performed in The Disney Channel’s “Grazin’ in the Grass” video with Raven, “Hi-Fi Room” on the Fox Channel, and taught on the “LA Elite” Dance Convention. 

She is also a member of one of the hottest hip-hop companies “Culture Shock LA.”  Her students continue to take top spots at every competition.

Carissa Stephens:

Gymnastics, All-Star Instructor.

Carissa began dancing at The Talent Factory 20 years ago! For 10 years she was one of our own award winning Showstoppers. She was a songleader at Ayala High School for four consecutive years, winning many national awards and earning the title of Top National Soloist.

Carissa has been teaching gymnastics at the Talent Factory for 8 years and has been coaching the infamous Chino Valley All-Stars for the past 5 seasons. She finished one season as a Los Angeles Laker Girl and is currently a San Diego Chargers Cheerleader.  Having coached various local high school cheer, song,  and dance teams, she is currently in her second season coaching the Cheer and Song teams  at Chino Hills High School.

 

 

Krista Gulickson:

All-Star Instructor.

Krista, former student of The Talent Factory, has been coaching for three successful seasons.  She was a cheerleader and songleader during her high school days at Don Lugo High School.  She went on to cheer and dance for Mt. San Antonio College. 

She is currently a full-time student at  Cal State San Bernardino where she is double majoring in nursing and business.

Sara Hunnicutt:

Gymnastics, All-Star Instructor.

Sara has been at The Talent Factory for 3 years.  She has thirteen years of cheer experience and eight years of dance.  She is on staff for U. S. Spiritleader’s for whom she coaches high school and college cheer camps and judges regional and national cheer competitions.

She also coaches at Diamond Bar High School.  She is currently a Junior at Cal Poly Pomona with a Pre-Veterinary major.

Tori Klein:

Cheerleading, All-Star Instructor.

Ms. Klein was competitive cheerleader for over 10 years. Those teams took numerous top spots at regional and national competitions. She performed at the Pro Bowl for two years. She was Top Gun Stunt Champion of 2002. She also worked for the United Spirit Association for two years coaching camps all over California.

Tori recently graduated from Chapman University with a BA in Public Relations and Advertising and plans to continue her education there and get a Masters in Business.

Amy Costanzo:

Jazz, Lyrical, Showstopper Instructor.

This is Amy’s third season with The Talent Factory.  Most of her dance life was spent as a competitor for various dance studios. 

She is a third time LA Laker Girl and full-time student at Cal State Fullerton.  She has danced professionally on shows such as the MTV Movie Awards and The Jaime Kennedy Experiment.  Her Showstopper numbers have taken home many top awards.

Devon Hall:

Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Combo, Showstopper, Dance Club & All-Star Instructor.

Ms. Hall is in her 5th season with The Talent Factory.  She is trained in all forms of dance, cheerleading and songleading.  She has taught at various Inland Empire studios and is on staff with The United Spirit Association which puts on High School and College Cheer and Dance Camps. 

She has a “work hard” attitude and that is why her students who have taken top spots at songleading and dance competitions.

Zachary Benitez:

Gymnastics. 

Zach has been with the Talent Factory for two years and has taught at other local gyms including SCATS.  He has vast training background.  He is USA Gymnastics National Safety Certified and has been a professional member for 8 years.  He is also American Red Cross C.P.R. and First Aid Certified and is currently training to be a paramedic.  Zach is a certified massage therapist as well as a World Tae Kwon Do Federation 4th Degree Black Belt.  In his spare time he loves surfing, bungee jumping, rock climbing, dirt bike riding, scuba diving and anything else outdoors.

Lindsay Belanger:

Lindsay Belanger has been dancing since she was 7. She was a 6 year member of the Showstopper dance team. As a competitive lyrical and pointe soloist, Lindsay was awarded numerous top regional and national spots. She has also danced with the Talent Techniques Ballet Company, Pasadena Dance Theater, and the Inland Pacific Ballet Academy.

Lindsay can be seen in the dance instructional video, "Progressions", under the direction of Jackie Sleight.  She assisted choreographer Courtney Miller on Disney's hit T.V. show "That's So Raven".  She is a Junior at Azusa Pacific University and is currently the director of her church's dance ministry.

Kylee Lollis:

Kylee began dancing at the Talent Factory the moment she was old enough to step foot in a dance class. She was a member of the Showstoppers for 9 years. While a Showstopper, she won scholarships to LA Dance Magic, LA Elite, and from So You Think You Dance’s Blake McGrath. Kylee has just begun her college education at Cal State Fullerton where she has earned a place on their esteemed dance team.

Her career plan includes a degree in kinesiology with the aspiration of becoming a chiropractor. We are so excited to add Kylee to our staff- she brought such light and optimism to the Showstopper team. We know she will do the same wtih her young dancers!

Brittnie VanDeCar:

Brittnie is a Talent Factory Showstopper alumni. She has grown up at the Talent Factory right before our very eyes. In addition to being a Showstopper, she was also an Ayala Songleader for all four years of high school. This is her first year teaching...she is teaching tap and jazz as well as coaching for the Chino Valley All-Stars and choreographing for the 2006-2007 Dance Club Team.

Currently she attends Chaffey College in pursuit of a degree in nursing. Watch out Talent Factory, Brittnie is on her way!

Amanda Sandifer:

Amanda’s dance career started at the Talent Factory at the age of 8. She started as a member of Dance Club and then moved on to Showstoppers. Now in her second year of college at Cal State Long Beach, Amanda is pursuing a degree in journalism with a minor in dance. She is teaching jazz and combo classes as well as choreographing for Dance Club. Amanda has made an impact on her students in just one year’s time.

We are thrilled to have Amanda on our staff and can’t wait to watch her “do her thing.”

The Talent Factory takes pride in its dedicated faculty. Most instructors have had an extended career in television, film, theater & commercials. We have staff members that have been with the Talent Factory for over 10 & 15 years!

We believe that your dance experience should be, above all, a learning process, fun, a place to build self-esteem, a time to make friends, a place to learn discipline and coordination. The Talent Factory caters to the student who is recreational as well as the student who wishes to have a serious dance agenda.
